Two water samples were collected in December from the HILLCREST MANOR WATER USERS ASSOCIATION WELL 1B MADRE MESA (Sample DW069) and WELL 2B SHEILA (Sample DW070) on behalf of NDEP. The laboratory analytical report is attached. Sample DW069 did not contain reportable concentrations of PFAS compounds. Sample DW070 contained reportable concentrations of PFAS compounds. The Field Reagent Blank sample (DW070-FRB) collected at the same time and location as sample DW070 did not contain reportable concentrations of PFAS compounds indicating that sample collection procedures and field conditions did not adversely affect sample quality. The other samples in the attached report are from different sites. Also attached is the NDEP PFAS Information Fact Sheet that provides background on PFAS and information on funding sources to address PFAS in drinking water.
