Water Waste, Pool Draining, and Violation Fees
Water is to stay on the property, no water should be allowed to run down the street.
Pool Draining should be done onto the property, the LVVWD and SNHD have specific regulations for which we also recommend and utilize. The water should be slow drained onto areas located on your property, moved and monitored to prevent damage to the grass, landscaping, buildings, walls, and plants. Water should not be drained into the septic nor the street. The alternative to draining slowly on the private property is to hire a tank company to pump out the pool, the water is then transported to a location where the water is treated prior to being introduced to the Las Vegas Valley Sanitation System. Hillcrest Manor is not tied into the Las Vegas Valley Storm Drain system. Running water off the property results in erosion of the soil above and around the slurry roadway, leaving damage to other private properties, erosion and removal of the soil covering the laterals that provide water from the mains to the water box. Water waste is also watering outside the approved watering times and days. Please review the schedule and watering group B. Water Waste Violation Fees are $150, lock off fee is $125 and turn on fee is $125. The Waste fee and lock off/turn on fee total of $400 is to be paid in full prior to water restoration. Cut Lock fees start at $50. Any damage to the valve box due to the unauthorized/illegal removal of the lock is to be paid by the Property Owner.
